from farmer to florist….

My work in floral design began many moons ago, when I owned and operated a cut flower farm - StrayCat Flower Farm - in an agricultural zone locally known as The Intervale, situated on the outskirts of the city here in Burlington, Vermont.

The downtown Farmer’s Market was the launchpad for what blossomed into a full-time business, including a 4-season greenhouse, weekly bouquet deliveries, weddings & events, and Pick-Your-Own buckets.

These days, I still find myself drawn to the pleasure of creating lovely arrangements from the garden: reaching out by sending flowers for all occasions, welcoming visiting guests, or simply saying hello to a friend.

Your support of local growers helps maintain the working landscape we all treasure and appreciate. Thank You!
